Recording Engineering & Production with Management Associate Degree
In this program, you can gain the knowledge and skills to produce sound recordings as finished products or as components of film/video, broadcast, live or mixed-media productions. Graduates of this program can seek employment as recording engineers, mixers, sound technicians, broadcast engineers and more. In addition, you’ll take courses like Contracts and Publishing, Advanced Audio Editing, and Live and Corporate Sound to prepare you to seek management positions in the field.
Entertainment & Media Business with Management Associate Degree
Choose from the Associate degree or diploma path as you prepare to function in a wide range of positions requiring the skills of persuasive communication. You can study advertising, public relations, management, marketing and sales in the entertainment industry as you prepare to work in advertising, promotions, talent scouting or other positions in the field. You’ll also take courses like Media & Entertainment Law, Talent & Event Management, and Contracts and Publishing to help you gain the skills necessary to advance to management positions in the industry.
Recording Engineering & Producing Diploma
This program will prepare individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to the production of sound recordings as finished products or as components of film/video, broadcast, live, or mixed media productions. The program includes instruction in sound equipment operation and maintenance; audio editing; audio recording; audio mixing; sound engineering; beat making, record production, and working with producers, editors, directors, artists, and production managers.
Entertainment & Media Business Diploma
This program is designed to prepare students to function in a wide range of positions requiring the skills of persuasive communication. Students will be introduced to advertising, public relations, marketing and sales in the entertainment industry. Graduates of this program will obtain skills to acquire entry-level employment in advertising, promotions and talent scouting, and other entertainment-related positions. The program consists of 40 weeks and 54 quarter credit hours of theory and associated labs. Instruction is designed for entry every 10 weeks.
We also offer a variety of individual courses for budding creatives, including music production, songwriting/vocals, dance, graphics and web design, and the arts.
